The author Timothy Sauer is the Associate Professor of Mathematics at
George Mason University. Tim Sauer recieved his PhD from the University of California at Berkeley in 1982. Before becoming part of the Math department at George Mason University, Tim Sauer taught mathematics at Michigan State University.
