About this book :-
Intermediate Course in Differential Equations written by Earl D. Rainville .
The author has written this book with three main aims. This book is intended as a bridge for the gap between elementary courses and really advanced courses. It furnishes the student with further tools for constructing computable soltuion for specific differential equaitons in particular for linear equations in the neighborhood of regular singular points. Finally it affords an introduction to several topics of importance in the classical theory.
This is a useful textbook for a course following the usual one in elementary diffrentrial equaitons. This material is equal success to students in pure mathematics and to students whose major interest is engineering, Chemistry, Physics or Statistics.
(Earl D. Rainville)
