About this book :-
Modern Physics, 6th Edition (Solution Manual) written by
Paul Tipler, Ralph Llewellyn .
Its provide all the answers of this text book. In preparing this new edition of Modern Physics textbook, we have again relied heavily on the many helpful suggestions from a large team of reviewers and from a host of instructor and student users of the earlier editions. Their advice reflected the discoveries that have further enlarged modern physics in the first decade of the new century, took note of the evolution that is occurring in the teaching of physics in colleges and universities, and recognized the growing role of modern physics in the biological sciences. As the term modern physics has come to mean the physics of the modern era—relativity and quantum theory—we have heeded the advice of many users and reviewers and preserved the historical and cultural flavor of the book while being careful to maintain the mathematical level of the earlier editions. We continue to provide the flexibility for instructors to match the book and its supporting ancillaries to a wide variety of teaching modes, including both one- and two-semester courses and media-enhanced courses.
(Paul A. Tipler)

About Author :-
The author Paul Tipler received his B.S. from Purdue University in 1955 and his Ph.D. at the University of Illinois in 1962, where he studied the structure of nuclei.
He taught for one year at Wesleyan University in Connecticut while writing his thesis, then moved to Oakland University in Michigan, where he was one of the original members of the physics department, playing a major role in developing the physics curriculum. During the next 20 years, he taught nearly all the physics courses and wrote the first and second editions of his widely used textbooks Modern Physics (1969, 1978) and Physics (1976, 1982). In 1982, he moved to Berkeley, California, where he now resides, and where he wrote College Physics (1987) and the third edition of Physics (1991). In addition to physics, his interests include music, hiking, and camping, and he is an accomplished jazz pianist and poker player.
