About Author :-
The author Ross Lee Finney was an American mathematican. He was born in Springfield, Mass. He received his undergraduate and Ph.D. degrees at the at the
University of Michigan in the 1950 and 1960 respectively. In 1963 he started teaching at Princeton University. Throughout his career he wrote many textbooks on the various functions of calculus, and he wrote book chapters, articles and research papers. He also collaborated with George Thomas of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology to produce a highly successful textbook, "Calculus and Analytic Geometry". Finney's textbooks have instructed millions of high school and college students.
