About Author :-
Author Donald L. White is B.S. and M.S. degrees in mathematics from Ohio State University in 1980 and 1982, respectively, and a Ph.D. in mathematics from Yale University under the direction of Walter Feit in 1987. He held a post-doctoral position at the University of Illinois at Chicago from 1987 to 1989 before joining the faculty of the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Kent State University in August of 1989. Currently He is am a Professor of Mathematics.
His research interests are in the representation theory of finite groups, modular representation theory of finite groups of Lie type in non-defining characteristics, and computational modular character theory.
